Air Energy: Techniques to Neutralize Rumination

1) Humor. Wisdom can be the embrace of an experience as silly or funny, inconsequential, or insignificant. “What would my cosmic, playful inner child say?” Or, “What would my inner Crone/Wise Woman (or man) say?”
2) 369 Surrender (Passive energetics (3) to discharge the Active force (6) and access the third force (9); the third force or the 9 is also the Reconciling force)

Listen to the song “In a Sky Full of Stars” (Coldplay): “I don’t care, go on and tear me apart…I don’t care if you do… cuz in a sky full of stars, I think I saw you!” I recommend the movie Sing 2, which features this song. Excellent movie to understand this concept.
3) Time. Think about time. Do you want to spend your time, which is an energetic currency, obsessing over something? Rumination blocks creativity and movement forward. Can you hand the reins to your highest self and trust that you will have clarity in time? Like the Buddhist parable of letting “muddy waters settle,” commit to setting down the problem. You’ll revisit later.

4) The Universal Release Method. Ask yourself if the thought(s) are true and discharge findings off each other. Play Angel’s Advocate for both the negative and positive aspects of the thought's polarity. “This is true because” (take yourself to hell in your mind)… “this is not true because” (take yourself to heaven in your mind)… Keep going back and forth, like you are volleying a thought “ball,” moving more towards the center of the polarity each time to discharge the energy. This is you having a conversation with yourself and allowing yourself to play out the full spectrum of energy in your mind. You are also acting as an observer now, which means you will access more neutrality. Keep volleying back and forth until your mind and body feel more relaxed.
5) Alchemize it. Use your challenges to benefit yourself and the world. Make a list of the thoughts showing you what you can heal within, and focus on receiving that information. Then utilize integration and callback methods: compassion keys, shadow and inner child work, chakra balancing, grounding, releasing non-beneficial energies/thought forms/beliefs, and replacing empty spaces with your own spirit’s power and energy. Then teach what you’ve learned to others or create something else with it. Session discussions are useful to support you with this. You will soon remember you are an expert alchemist.
6) The energy of “righteous protection and boundaries” is to be discerned from “healthy, loving boundaries.” The former is a nemesis and will put you in a predator-prey energy dynamic with yourself, others, and this realm. The latter honors the individuation and free will of self and others. When obsessive thoughts become paranoia or defensive protection energetics, or ungrounded, fearful, and unstable, pull in the energy of the fox archetype. This focuses on the opposite polarity. If you feel like prey, focus on the feeling of a predator. This doesn’t mean go around plotting to harm someone or something. The fox symbolizes cleverness, slyness, and is known in some cultures as a Trickster.

Positive traits of the fox archetype:
· Creativity
· Passion
· Wisdom
· Charm
· Cleverness
· Nobility
· Protection
· Guidance
Final Thought
At the root, as this entire realm is a projection of individual and collective mental holography and illusions (the illusion that we are NOT love), the Question to ask oneself is:
“What would love say?”
