Others can not pull a strong character out of character
A strong character can take criticism
And correction
Via what their realm shows them
Or what a teacher imparts
A strong character
Notices when one has allowed oneself to
Be pulled out of character and
Returns to character as quickly as possible
Without shame or guilt
Just gentle acknowledgement
And a will to master mind and emotion
In the now present moment
A strong character does not expect perfection
From the self
But intends to expand the self
All-ways
A strong character centers themselves
While noting when they have been invited into
The story of another
And honors where sovereign stories begin and end
Between self and the other
A strong character does not need or require
Attention or approval
Or a need to be seen a certain way by a tribe
A strong character gnos they are truly
Their only
Observer
And their own eye
Is their motivation
A strong character does not mimic
Nor copy
Other strong characters
—Though there is nothing new under the sun
Style and verse is soul/sole-full (individuated)
—and this Nuance is embodied.
“All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages”
-Shakespeare
